This sounds good... but what does it take to get started?
Simply CLICK HERE and learn the steps it would take you to be up and running! We need a letter from your Board which indicates the intent to purchase and we send out your program and manual right away!

Once you receive the program (usually in a day), it's a matter of entering your vendors and your employees, then you are on your way!

Do you have references?
We sure do! Once you've contacted us for more information, we'll provide you with a price quote and a list of some of our current customers and their contact information!

I work crazy hours - can you help me when I need it?
YES! We answer the phone during normal business hours - but we will provide help when you need it! Working at 6am? 11pm? We'll help you out! We answer e-mails and are working 24 hours to serve you! Just let us know.

We want to purchase your program but we have no money in the current budget... Can you help?
Sure! Of course, payment within a month is always appreciated... However, we understand that municipalities can't always operate like that because items have to be budgeted. We just need a letter from your Board which indicates the intent to purchase and we send out your program and manual the same day. You will be sent an invoice - simply pay in January when your new budget is in place!

We currently use QuickBooks - how is MARGE different?
First, and foremost, we offer an INSTANT Form C report! Also - we offer a full payroll package that incorporates the many ways people are paid within a municipality and different rates, as well as the amount taken from different accounts (all on the same paycheck)! Do you have a Board member who is a full-time fireman, and also plows snow? MARGE can handle it!

MARGE comes with offsite backup and mirror-image support. We look at YOUR data and will help identify the problem! Can you call QuickBooks and tell them your Trial Balance isn't coming out? They only answer program questions.

QuickBooks is an excellent program, but it's meant for small business and not a Wisconsin Municipality. It also costs more in the long run, because often you need to pay an accountant to do what is included in the MARGE program and the annual service fees are more!

Can you import data from QuickBooks?
Because QuickBooks (MicroSoft) is guarded with the output of their program data - and they limit how they speak to other programs, we ask that you simply end the year with your current software and spend time setting up MARGE so that you can run with a clean slate as of January 1st!

Some towns chose (depending on the time of year of purchase) to "back-enter" to the beginning of the year. We'll help anyway we can!

Software always comes with a "maintenance" fee... how much is your annual maintenance fee?
Typically our maintenance fees range from $200-$300/year, depending on your municipality. That's less than any other program out there! It includes all of your updates, your offsite backup and all customer support via telephone and e-mail!
