How to get started!
Minimum Computer Requirements
- Since support is done via the Internet, we require Internet/e-mail capability. (Ideally Internet/e-mail should be on the same computer which will be used as the primary computer for the program - but it can work by transporting files by CD-R or "flash" drive.)
- CD-ROM or DVD-R
- Windows 2000, XP or 7
Only 5 Easy Steps to Get Started
- Install the Software (about 10 minutes)
- Print the Chart of Accounts / State Account Numbers in form CT (about 15 minutes)
- Add your vendors for disbursements (1-2 hours)
- Set up your employees and payroll (about 10-15 minutes per employee -- less if you do not have retirement or other deductions -- or if you are a fast typist! :)
- Set up your Receipt Groups (about 1 hour).
- Once all of these are completed - you are ready to start inserting the checks and receipts for the current month! We can insert your year-to-date information in bulk (totals for each account) or do it in detail later if you have time.
That's it! You can be on your way before lunch!
Support
- We will be glad to work with you whenever we can. If you call or e-mail ahead of time, it's even easier for us to set aside some time to address your needs.
- Nights, Weekends and Days. Generally, we can explain what you need to do in about 15 minutes or less (especially during the Getting Started process) and then you can call again for the next step if you need to!
- Support is by telephone and internet. The program is easy and doesn't require on-site training!
- We know a Clerk's schedule is often working from home or on nights and weekends. We are here for you!

Purchase Procedure
- If you are purchasing to use for the next calendar year - let us know now! If there is a budget issue - we can arrange for payment in January - but we can get you started right away rather than wait. (December/January is usually very busy for clerks - so it's great to get started before then!)
- Call us for a complete price list - but we are an extremely cost-effective and efficient alternative to other accounting options and software! The current price for a town with a population of less than 750 is only $999 with an annual maintenance fee of less than $200 per year!! (Prices vary based on municipality population.)
